I know that Richard Nixon took the United States off of the gold standard in the 1970s. But how does this decision effect the stock market, inflation, and job security currently.

A colleague is traveling to China for official visit, to meet our business partners for engineering discussions. It was a last minute decision and there was no time to get the proper paper work from our business partners in China. Is it illegal to for to travel for this purpose on a tourist visa (which was available in 2 days)? What kind of penalty is expected if the authorities find out? My colleague is an Indian passport holder, but resident of Singapore.

Like when an economy has been going through a long period of demand-side inflation and the gov. tries to stop the inflation by restricting the monetary and fiscal policies. Should those policies be publicized widely? Does it make a difference?

The suggested alternatives to endosulfan, a contact pesticide are more hazardous to life than what Endosulfan is claimed to be. Alternatives like imidacloprid, thimethoxam, coregen are systemic pesticides unlike endosulfan. They enter the ecosystem and persist for a long time proving fatal to life.
Do you really feel we are taking the right decision of banning endosulfan?

Suddenly there is a mountain of inquiries and investigations into the activities of the media, the police and politicians. Until recently only a few were bravely and passionately interested in the implications of News International and the hacking allegations. Now one media empire is besieged and others must be wondering whether they too will attract unwelcome attention.

Perhaps more staggering revelations are to come, but the essential contours of the scandal are clear. Power in Britain is distributed widely and erratically. Yet on the whole we report and scrutinize decisions, events and public personalities on the assumption that most power is concentrated in the hands of politicians in general and ministers in particular.

Around the clock, politicians are held to account, even though most of them wield virtually no power at all. If anything happens anywhere, the instinct of the media and the gladiatorial parliamentary culture is to hold the Government to account almost alone. Weak-kneed elected politicians feel compelled to respond.

What he did in Britain is undermine legal government, destroy the nation and the public’s trust in the government, Blair, Cameron, it doesn’t matter, Murdoch chose both and ran and runs both like hand puppets as he did with Bush and his friends.

Now, today, as the British People are reeling in the revelations that their government for decades has not been their own, a diseased hybrid of crazy old man, spies and the paid stooges that the people thought were serving them!

And it goes on in America, full blast, Murdoch and his creatures are planning the future of America folks.

One of his creatures is Boehner.

    Another is Palin.

    Then there is Gingrich.

There was the entire Bush administration.

But just how deep is all this treasonous activity going to get, and who else is being bribed by him and his fellow evil doers?

And more to the point; WHAT ARE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Just sit there and do nothing?
    Elect them all again?

    Or start anew?
    All thoughts welcome.
